Handy Soft Keys is a handy utility app that is designed to provide a more comfortable and convenient user experience for Android devices. It allows you to customize the Android device's navigation controls to your liking and with a single tap, you can change the current location of the device. It is easy to use and does not require any special permission. It is a useful application for Android devices.

I'm debugging an issue with the soft keyboard display not displaying when it should. However, I don't have a device handy for testing. The problem is that the emulator never shows the soft keyboard.

This will bring up a Dialog in which case you can then disable the Hardware Keyboard by switching the hardware keyboard from on to off. This will disable the Hardware keyboard and enable the softkeyboard.

Settings > Language & input > Current keyboard > Hardware Switch ON.

It allows you to use your physical keyboard for input while at the same time showing the soft keyboard.I just tested it on Android Lollipop and it works.

Soft Keys is a sufficient alternative for the broken navigation bar of your smartphone or tablet. This way you can optionally utilize the keys flashed on your screen in order to effectively operate some tasks on your device. If you value your disk space over additional personalization settings then, this small program will satisfy you already. Otherwise, Soft Keys 2 is more suitable for you to install.

He is wanting a soft key to be able to be setup to save to

specific scene number slot so when ever you hit that soft key

it automatically will save/over right to a scene number that

you have set it to.

I think he is talking about a possible action (control type) for the soft keys. Currently you can load a stored scene via a soft key, e.g load scene 1, but you can only activate the saving of the current scene but not to a different, fixed, one.

As far as I understand the desired workflow he wants to do something like

Load scene 1 which holds the whole setup for the band, loading without any recall safes.

Then use scene 2 up to 10 to load different settings of the soft rotaries (all except the soft rotaries aro on recall safe for that scenes).

Now he changes something on the setup and he wants to save it to scene 1 so, that he can use this scene to get back these last setting for the given band. But saving it to current it will be saved to one of the scenes 2 to 10, and this is not desired.

It's normal that smartphone users will encounter with various kinds of issues with their mobile phones in daily life, no matter they are using Android or iPhone. However, there is a problem always bother Android users, which is the Android buttons or soft keys not working. While iOS users will seldom have such obsession. The common issue is that Android Home, Power, Menu, Back or Volume buttons stop working suddenly. Although such problem is not so serious compared with a system crash or broken screen issue, but it's so annoying and bring much inconvenience to Android users' daily life.

Button Savior is one of the best apps which can help Android users solve the Android soft keys not working problem. There are Root and No Root two versions available. If only one or some of the Power, Home, Camera, Call, and Volume buttons stops working in your Android phone, the No Root version is enough for you to use. But if your Back button, Search button or other buttons stop working, you need to use the Root version to replace the broken buttons.

The second choice for you to fix the Android soft keys not working issue should be Simple Control app. It may be not so functional than Button Savior because that the buttons it can replace is much less than Button Savior. But it can solve most Android soft keys not working issue.

When your Volume button stops working, the first thing you need to do is to check whether it's a hardware or software problem. If the Volume button is not working after a recent update to Android or any Google app, try to restart your device and test whether the Volume button works well for some time. Test the screen capture function by using the power and volume down buttons. If this also works, it means that it's a software issue. However, if restart cannot fix the issue or you cannot capture screen with the volume down button, it's a hardware issue and you'd better ask help from the service center.

Hi, thanks for reading this. Some time ago I was using MAME4droid to emulate arcade games in Android (Xperia SP), but I replaced that for the far better Final Burn Alpha core, the only thing I miss from MAME, is that it hided soft keys automatically, so it filled the whole screen.

A handy, flexible micro-thermocouple using low-melting-point metal alloys is proposed in this paper. The thermocouple has the advantages of simple fabrication and convenient integration. Bismuth/gallium-based mixed alloys are used as thermocouple materials. To precisely inject the metal alloys to the location of the sensing area, a micro-polydimethylsiloxane post is designed within the sensing area to prevent outflow of the metal alloy to another thermocouple pole during the metal-alloy injection. Experimental results showed that the Seebeck coefficient of this thermocouple reached -10.54 V/K, which was much higher than the previously reported 0.1 V/K. The thermocouple was also be bent at 90 more than 200 times without any damage when the mass ratio of the bismuth-based alloy was

Two recent documentaries, "The Typewriter (In The 21st Century)" (2012) and "California Typewriter" (2016), featuring collector Tom Hanks, have helped popularize vintage typewriters among young people, who also have a soft spot for other analog technologies such as vinyl records and fountain pens.

Schweitzer, who also services HP laser printers, still packs up his leather typewriter-repair bag and heads out on jobs at offices around New York City, seeing to sticky keys and shredded ribbons. But these days, he sees to just a handful of typewriters in an office.

"A lot of law firms and accounting firms still have typewriters in their offices. They have computers, too, but there are always times when typewriters come in handy," he said. They are convenient for smaller jobs, such as addressing envelopes, and there are times you just want something done quickly and in triplicate.

And as with every tool, there are tricks to using a typewriter. To save on the number of keys, there is generally no number "1'' on older keyboards (a lower case "L" suffices), and to make an exclamation point, a period is topped with an apostrophe. (The "cent" key seems decidedly quaint today.)
