I'm not sure if I'm asking the question in the right place. However, I wanted to ask you for your opinion / your experience. I want to buy equipment for retro games and I was wondering what would give me more freedom - a dedicated handheld (rg351m) or maybe a set (smartphone with snapdragon 6xx / 7xx gamepad attached). Will you share your knowledge on this topic?

My problem exactly. Finally fixed one Air Link stuttering problem by setting bit rate to 0 and now the Xbox wireless pc gamepad won't work all of a sudden. Works with Steam...but then what would I need the horrible Link software for...? I wish. Any one have an advice or suggestions for Xbox gamepad not being recognized by Link or AirLink all of a sudden. It was working previously.

Have you controller paired with Headset or PC? My gamepad works fine paired to headset while playing through Virtual Desktop, My problem is that it doesn't work via Air-Link while paired with googles. Space where I'm playing is too far from PC to pair gamepad with it.

Yes, the gamepad works for me with VD also, but doesn't get recognized when I open games via the Oculus Link/AirLink home menu. Not since the latest Oculus update. Not sure if selecting Use Oculus API for OpenX had any effect on this as that was the o ly change I recall making. Luckily the gamepad works via Steam interface, but its a hassle and doesn't help resource-wise to have to run the games through Oculus, then Steam, in effect: (

I know this is old, but I'm having a similar problem. Wanted to play American/Euro Truck Sim in VR. I have a Quest 2 I'm using via Link cable. The games startup and run but my Xbox gamepad will not work. It works perfectly fine for flatscreen play, but apparently running ATS through Steam VR or maybe just software running over Link doesn't recognize the gamepad.

Gamepad tester is an online application that enables the users toreadily test the working of the gamepads and controllers. It showsthe current state of your gamepads, controllers, input, joysticks, and other devices. You can also view the functionalities of variousbuttons and other inputs like trigger buttons or shoulder buttonsalong with joysticks. It is easy to use and compatible with alltypes of controllers. Additionally, the gamepad tester will also aidusers in debugging broken gaming controllers, hardware, and otherinput devices.

Imagine purchasing a new gamepad or controller and inspecting thatthe character is moving when you aren't pushing anything and thetrigger buttons are not as accurate as they used to be. It would besomething annoying. To avoid such a situation, examine your gamepadcontroller and continue playing uninterruptedly. All the playersneed to do is implement these below easy-to-follow steps:-

There is no rocket science behind the working algorithm of thegamepad tester. When users strike the button or move the gamepadsticks over the screen, it should display the movement of youranalog stick on pc.

When we press the button and the gamepad is in appropriate workingcondition, then, the controller Detected message will pop up withthe name of your controller on the gamepad server. If the user wantsto examine multiple controllers or gamepads, they must proceed oneby one.

If your gamepad still drifts, dismantle your gaming controllerand check if the analog sticks are positioned properly. Removethem and replace them with new ones if the thumbstick padsfeel loose. Then, rearrange all the input parts of thecontroller and test its functionality.

Once the nodejs application is launched, you just have to plug your gamepad controller by connecting your device on the same local network and by reaching the address _server_adress (i.e. your Raspberry Pi's IP address) on your choice of web browser (Chrome Mobile is recommended).

Note that you need to configure the virtual gamepad from emulationstation while in the web browser first BEFORE you create the application on your smartphone otherwise the input configuration in emulationstation will not work.

The secret sauce lies in a telescoping design that allows the Play to accept any size smartphone between two control pods featuring analog joysticks, a d-pad, buttons and shoulder paddles. Since it adjusts, so long as your device is 153mm long or shorter, and 14mm thick or thinner, it can be made to fit. You can even play in portrait mode while keeping the controls on the left and right side of the device, a handy feature for some puzzle games designed for vertical orientation. e24fc04721
