Q: How to use?
A: Open app → grant Camera & Photos → take or select image → get recognized text.
Q: Languages?
A: English handwriting only (more languages may be added later).
Q: Does it work offline?
A: No — recognition requires internet to call Google Cloud Vision API.
Q: Is my data stored?
A: No. Images and recognized text are processed in real-time and not stored on our servers. Local history stays on your device only.
GETTING STARTED (STEP-BY-STEP)
1. Install Hand to Text from the App Store.
2. Open app and grant Camera & Photo permissions.
3. Tap camera to capture or choose an image from Photos.
4. Result displays — copy, share, or export.
TROUBLESHOOTING (QUICK FIXES)
App crashes or freezes:
- Close and reopen app.
- Restart device.
- Update app to latest version.
- Free up device storage.
Camera not working:
- Verify Camera permission: Settings > Hand to Text.
- Ensure no other app is using camera.
- Restart app/device.
Recognition inaccurate:
- Use good lighting and high-contrast text.
- Keep camera steady; fill frame with text.
- Avoid shadows and blur.
- Retry capture.
Cannot share/export:
- Confirm permissions.
- Try copy → paste into target app first.
