Seeing The World: A Vision Science Workbook

In the Spring of 2021, I offered my Sensation & Perception course remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To incorporate hands-on activities during the semester, the NDSU bookstore worked with me to offer a course kit of materials containing the filters, lenses, lasers, etc. that students would need to complete the demos listed on this site. Because that course kit cost about 65 USD, I didn't want to ask students to buy an expensive textbook as well. Instead, I put together this free workbook, which includes conceptual and quantitative problems assigned as homework during the term.

This is very much a work in progress, so please forgive any errors or sections that just seem clunky. I continue to make edits to the text (especially with regard to the images) and updates will be visible here as they are being made.
