HandJam (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) is developed by Lefthanddeveloper.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and handled when you use HandJam on Meta Quest devices.

1. Information We Collect

HandJam does not collect, store, or transmit personal information to our own servers.

The App may process hand tracking, controller input, and gameplay data locally on your device only to provide core app features, such as gesture recognition, instrument control, rhythm game play, and saved preferences.

We do not use this data to identify users, track users, or create user profiles.

2. Local App Data

HandJam may store certain app data locally on your Meta Quest device in order to provide app functionality.

This may include:

• App settings

• Volume settings

• Instrument zone settings

• Gesture or controller mapping settings

• Saved Loop Station data, if you choose to use the save feature

• Other preferences needed for normal app operation

This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

HandJam does not store Rhythm Game scores, progress, rankings, or play history.

3. Hand Tracking and Controller Input

HandJam uses hand tracking and Meta Quest Touch controller input to enable its core music performance features.

This may include real-time processing of:

• Hand positions and gestures

• Controller positions

• Controller buttons and thumbstick inputs

This data is processed locally on the device to trigger sounds, switch instruments, and interact with the App.

Hand tracking and controller input data is not transmitted to our servers and is not used for advertising, tracking, or profiling.

4. Loop Station and Saved Content

HandJam includes a Loop Station feature that allows users to create loop-based performances.

If you choose to save Loop Station data, that data is stored locally on your device.

HandJam does not upload saved loops, performances, or music data to our servers.

HandJam does not provide a feature to export or share audio recordings from the App.

5. Passthrough

HandJam may support Meta Quest Passthrough features, allowing users to experience the App while seeing their real-world surroundings.

HandJam does not collect, store, transmit, or analyze Passthrough camera images or video.

Passthrough functionality is handled by the Meta Quest system according to Meta’s platform and device policies.

6. Third-Party Services

HandJam does not use third-party analytics services, advertising networks, backend services, or crash reporting SDKs.

HandJam is distributed through the Meta Quest platform. Meta may process platform-level data according to Meta’s own privacy policies, terms, and device settings. This may include information related to purchases, downloads, entitlement checks, updates, platform services, or system-level reporting.

7. Internet Connectivity

HandJam does not require an internet connection for normal gameplay unless required by Meta Quest platform services.

The App does not transmit personal information or gameplay data to the developer during normal use.

Some platform-level features, such as app purchase verification, updates, store services, or system-level reporting, may be handled by Meta according to Meta’s own policies.

8. Children’s Privacy

HandJam does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

The App does not ask users to provide names, contact information, account information, or other personal details.

9. User Rights and Data Control

Because HandJam does not collect or store personal information on our own servers, there is no personal information for the developer to access, modify, export, or delete.

Users may manage locally stored app data through their Meta Quest device settings, including deleting the App or clearing app data where supported by the system.

Saved Loop Station data, app settings, and preferences are stored locally and may be removed by deleting the App or clearing its local data.
