About UU Lansing

Our previous church home was on Grove Street in East Lansing, across from the East Lansing Public Library. A former fraternity house, we soon out grew the building and began a multi-year search for the perfect space. In 2015 we found it: a wonderful, stinky, expansive, leaky, once-beloved, left-to-rot old school building. At one time it was the thriving Lansing Christian School, then a charter school, and then basically an abandoned building. Located amid car dealership row and across the street from Paradise Motors, this building and its grounds needed extensive renovations to make it habitable. And guess what? With a lot of grit, muscle, toil, and love, we did it! In June, 2016, we moved into a wonderful, sweet, expansive, usually dry, again-beloved building that we call our new church home. We hope you will visit and enjoy it as much as we do!
