learn other strikes. muted tones and strikes from other hand drums- conga or cajon slap, mute, heel toe, etc…
experiment with hand drums and rhythms from multiple cultures.
learn notation (vocal and written) - for learning / sharing rhythm.
find a local hand drumming group - small or large
