CSU Bakersfield's Muslim Student Association is a student-run club that aims to bring Muslims closer together in order to reframe the Muslim American narrative and advocate for knowledge on Islam through educating the entire student body at CSUB.
During my four years at CSUB, I was very fortunate to be able to participate in the MSA as an active member.
During my second and third year at CSUB, I was elected as MSA's Publicist. These duties included advertising our many events and fundraisers through reaching out to staff, faculty, and students through sending out emails and creating flyers. Here are some examples:
Here is a video of the keychains we created as handouts for our annual Hijab Challenge, which was made at CSUB's Fab Lab! The design was created by a Muslim student, which was also the main design for our flyers for our 2018 chellenge!
