Last Updated: October 21, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Boost Cleaner (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) accesses, uses, stores, and handles information when you use the App.
This policy applies to Boost Cleaner version 1.0, package name com.hamyd.boostcleaner.
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at getnowyour@gmail.com.
1. Information Accessed by the App
Boost Cleaner provides storage cleaning, file management, photo organization, file recovery, app management, and device information tools. Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, the App may access the following information.
Files and media
The App may access files in accessible device storage, including photos, videos, audio, documents, downloads, installation packages, and archives. It may read file contents and information such as file names, paths, sizes, types, and modification dates.
This access supports file browsing and previews, storage scans, large-file detection, duplicate and similar photo identification, screenshot management, cleaning, and available file recovery functions.
Installed apps and usage information
The App may access installed app names, package names, versions, package sizes, cache statistics, and usage information made available by Android.
This information supports app management, identification of large or unused apps, cache usage reviews, and recently active app displays.
Device and network information
The App may read device information such as Android version, display specifications, storage capacity, RAM usage, battery status, temperature, voltage, and charging state.
It may also read connection status, transferred data totals, and per-app data usage statistics provided by Android. These statistics support network usage displays and live transfer-speed information. They do not provide the contents of your messages or network communications.
Local settings and operational records
The App stores settings and operational records on your device, such as feature preferences, notification settings, and records needed to support its functions.
Information you provide when contacting us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and any attachments or other information you choose to provide.
2. How Information Is Used
Information accessed by the App is used to:
- Provide the features you select.
- Identify files and apps for your review.
- Perform cleaning, deletion, or recovery actions you request.
- Display storage, battery, memory, and network information.
- Maintain local preferences and notification functions.
- Respond to support requests and troubleshoot reported issues.
File scans and device analysis are performed locally on your device. The version covered by this policy does not upload your files, photos, installed app inventory, or usage statistics to our servers.
3. Permissions and Special Access
File access: Storage permissions and, where applicable, All Files Access allow the App to scan and manage accessible shared storage. Android restrictions may limit which files can be accessed.
Usage access: Usage Access allows the App to read supported app usage, cache, and network statistics.
Notifications: Notification permission allows the App to display notifications, feature shortcuts, and device information.
Foreground service: The App uses a foreground service to maintain an ongoing notification with cleaning shortcuts and live network-speed information. This service may continue while the App’s main screen is closed.
App removal: The App may open Android’s uninstall interface when you choose to remove an installed app.
You can manage permissions and special access through Android settings. Disabling access may prevent related features from working.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
The version covered by this policy does not transmit locally accessed files or device statistics to advertising or analytics providers. We do not sell this information.
If you choose to open content with another application or contact us through an email service, that application or service handles the information you provide under its own privacy policy.
Support correspondence is processed through our email provider. We may disclose correspondence where required by applicable law or where necessary to protect legal rights or respond to a lawful request.
5. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Settings, cached information, and operational records are stored locally and retained as needed for the App’s functions.
You can remove app-private data by clearing the App’s storage in Android settings or uninstalling the App. Files stored in shared storage, including saved or recovered files, may remain until you delete them separately.
Deleting files through a cleaning feature may permanently remove the original files. File recovery is not guaranteed.
Support correspondence is retained only as long as needed to handle your request, resolve related issues, or meet applicable legal obligations. You can request deletion of information you have sent us by emailing getnowyour@gmail.com.
6. Security
The App relies on Android’s permission controls and application storage protections to limit access to locally stored information.
No method of storage or communication is completely secure. Please avoid sending passwords, financial information, or unnecessary sensitive files when contacting support.
7. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
You can choose which features to use, review items before deletion, manage Android permissions, disable notifications, clear app data, or uninstall the App.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal information we hold through support correspondence. Contact getnowyour@gmail.com to submit a request.
We cannot remotely access or delete files that remain solely on your device.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App does not require users to submit personal information to use its local tools.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through support correspondence, contact getnowyour@gmail.com so we can review the matter and delete the information where appropriate or required by law.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App or our data practices. Updates will be identified by a revised “Last Updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before introducing materially different data practices.
