Captain Barrel Cat is een eindeloze runner met een verassende twist van obstakels en vijanden die jou het niet makkelijk maken om een hoge score te halen. Alles met een makkelijke, intuïtieve gameplay.
Here is in short the proces of creating this game.
For the gameover screen i wanted some goofy like something out of a cartoon
When the sketch was made and satisfied i started to draw it over with a more accurete line drawing to give it a cleaner look.
In this stage i used the colours of the character design and shading to finalize the gameover character.
I started with a raw sketch how the game logo should look like. I wanted to use the cat as a mascotte inside of a barrel i got inspired by the logo sonic the hedgehog.
The fav icon has to be easy to reconize on smaller sizes so i made the lines thicker and stripped some elements
The logo is a more detailed version of the fav icon but still similar.
