Situated at the heart of Hampton Village, next to the Station, The Hampton Bookshop is your local secondhand charity bookshop. Established in 1975 it has been taking donations and raising funds for local charities for over 50 years. Click on the links to find out more.

Now under new management, we’re giving this much-loved Hampton institution a fresh new chapter, with longer opening hours, exciting new displays and plenty of reasons to pop in and browse. From our ever-changing selection of pre-loved books to our themed window displays celebrating literary favourites such as Agatha Christie, there’s always something new to discover. Come in, have a browse and see what takes your fancy!

This Month in The Bookshop

It is spooky season! Come and see what wonderful delights we have in the window this month.

Fancy Dress Competition!

On Halloween (Saturday 31 October 2026) we will be giving out prizes to anyone who comes to the shop in fancy dress. We are open from 10.30am - 6pm so there's plenty of time during your trick or treating to come by, say hi and get your prize!

There will be books, wands and delectible treats for everyone who takes part!

Muahahahahahahahahahah.
