Dr. Karen Bradler
Dr. Bradler grew up on a farm north of Raleigh. She had horses, Charlois cattle and multiple dogs and cats growing up. Her family grew alfalfa and timothy hay, as well as corn for silage. After high school, Dr. Bradler studied Animal Science and biology at Purdue University. She continued her education to become a DVM at Ohio State University where she received honors and was inducted into the Phi Zeta Honor Society. After receiving her doctorate, she did a rotating internship at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey. After spending time researching and working around the world, Dr. Bradler moved from Hawaii to Wilmington, NC. In Wilmington, she worked for local animal hospitals for serval years and then opened a very successful mobile veterinary clinic for 10 years with her husband, Mark. This afforded her the opportunity to raise their two sons and continue doing projects overseas. She has since owned and operated Hampstead Animal Hospital to serve Hampstead and surrounding cities with their pet care needs. In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving, flying small planes and spending time with her, now retired, husband.
Dr. Stephanie Moore
Dr. Moore is the daughter of a Baptist minister and a teacher. She grew up in the Piedmont area in the mountains of NC. She received a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Science followed by her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University. During her studies, Dr. Moore was also a member of the NCSU cheerleading and dance teams. After graduation, Dr. Moore practiced large animal veterinary medicine for 6 years and really enjoyed working outside with all the farm animals. Even though she loved treating large animals, especially horses, she transitioned into small animal medicine for a more predictable schedule. Her favorite areas of expertise with small animal medicine are preventative care and treating skin diseases. Dr. Moore has 4 dogs and 4 cats that keep her busy when she is not working. Her Christian faith is also a very important part of her life.
