Here at Hampshire School Organization, we are a group of volunteer parents committed to supporting our teachers and students! As a 501(c)3, all donations are tax deductible. The HSO holds fundraisers to meet our annual budget to provide supplies to classrooms, field trip transportation, new playground equipment and other requests as received from the Principal. We are always looking for more help whether it be through volunteer support or donations that are monetary or your time!
Board Meetings are typically held the third Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm.
I'm Monica Mitchell, and I'm excited to serve as the HSO President this year. My husband, Joe, and I moved to Hampshire shortly after we were married, and we have two children at HES-- Jack (2nd grade) and Sophia (Kindergarten).
I've been involved with the HSO since Jack started at HES because I believe being involved at school helps us stay connected to our kids, their education, and our community. I'm passionate about supporting our students, teacher, and staff and helping create a positive learning environment for everyone.
When I'm not at work, you'll usually find me cheering on my kids at whatever sport they're playing that season. I'm looking forward to a great year together!
My name is Stephanie Weston and I'll be serving as Vice President of the HSO for the '26-'27 school year. I have been active in the HSO since my now 7th grader started Kindergarten at HES. My youngest, Maximus, is a 4th grader this year. I am very excited for another amazing year working with our Whip-pur families and staff!
My name is Erin Jarnebro, and I have been a member of HSO for three years and serviced as a Class Rept for two years before becoming Treasurer. I have a daughter in Fourth Grade and a son in Third Grade. My favorite things about HES are the amazing school spirit, the passionate staff and the dedication that everyone has to the students.
I'm Jenn Reid and I will be serving as the HSO Secretary for the '26-'27 school year! I have been involved with the HSO for three years. My son Mikey will be starting 4th grade at HES this year. I am excited to support our amazing HES staff!
When I'm not at work you can usually find my family around town at various community events or cheering Mikey on at his soccer games!
Class Representatives are elected by the board/general membership in attendance to represent each of the grade levels at HES. Thank you for volunteering your time to support the teachers at HES! The full description for class representatives can be found HERE.
