Hamid Raza is a PhD student of Business Administration at School of Management and Economics, Tongji University, Shanghai, China. His research focuses on technology management, artificial intelligence capabilities, organizational agility, digital transformation, and technological innovation in manufacturing firms. His work examines how AI-driven resources and strategic capabilities contribute to product and process innovation in dynamic business environments.
He received his Master of Civil and Commercial Law from Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, China, and his Bachelor of Commerce from the National College of Business Administration & Economics, Lahore, Pakistan. He also completed Chinese language studies in China, developing cross-cultural and multilingual competencies.
Throughout his academic journey, he has been awarded several prestigious scholarships, including the Global Talent PhD Scholarship sponsored by Tongji University and the Bank of China, the China Scholarship Council (CSC) Scholarship for his master's studies, and the PEEF Scholarship in Pakistan.
His current research seeks to advance understanding of how organizations can leverage AI capabilities, workforce agility, and strategic agility to enhance innovation performance and maintain competitiveness in rapidly evolving technological landscapes.
Hamid Raza’s research explores how artificial intelligence capabilities, organizational agility, and digital transformation shape technological innovation in manufacturing firms. His work focuses on understanding how data capabilities, AI technologies, and human competencies contribute to product and process innovation through agile organizational practices. He is particularly interested in the strategic role of AI in enhancing innovation performance and organizational adaptability in dynamic business environments.
I also had the privilege to work as a Teaching Assistant under my tutor for the Entrepreneurship course. I supported the instructor in creating an engaging and practical learning environment for students. My responsibilities included assisting with course materials, facilitating discussions, guiding students on assignments and projects, checking their assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback on business plans and presentations.
