Welcome to Quran Majeed. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (if any), how we use it, and your rights as a user.

Quran Majeed does not require account registration or login to use any core app features.

Quran Majeed allows users to create a local personal profile within the app. The following information may be entered voluntarily by you:

Strictly Local: All profile information, bookmarks, and Tasbeeh counts are stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted off the device, never sent to any server, and is never "collected" by Hamdaan Studio.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. No data is transferred to any external companies, advertisers, or analytics providers.
2.3 Information We Do NOT Process
We do not access, process, or transmit:
Usage analytics or behavioural data
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Cookies or tracking data
Financial or payment information
3. Permissions We Request
To provide specific app utilities, Quran Majeed requests the following Android permissions. **Permissions are requested only when required for specific app functionality and can be denied by the user at any time.
Permission Purpose
`ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION` / `ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION` Used exclusively to calculate the precise Qibla direction relative to your physical location. Location data is processed strictly in memory on your device in real-time. It is never stored, tracked, or transmitted off your device.
Photo Picker / Media Access Requested only when you explicitly choose to upload a custom profile photo from your device's gallery. Uses the Android Photo Picker — no broad storage access is required.
All permissions are used only for the stated purpose and are never used to collect personal data.
4. Data Storage
All app data (bookmarks, last-read page, profile information, Tasbeeh counts) is stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences and local storage.
We do not use any remote database, analytics SDK, or cloud storage.
If you uninstall the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, Quran Majeed does not retain any user data on external servers.

5. Third-Party Services
Quran Majeed does not integrate with any third-party advertising SDKs, tracking libraries, or diagnostic analytics providers.

6. Children's Privacy
Quran Majeed is safe and suitable for all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect or transmit personal information from children under the age of 13. Because all profile creation remains strictly on-device, no data from minors can be intercepted or exposed externally.

Although all data is stored locally on your device, we encourage you to protect your device using standard Android security measures (PIN, password, or biometric lock) to ensure your local profile data remains private.
8. Your Rights and Data Deletion
Since all data remains completely under your physical control on your device, you possess full management rights:
Edit: You can update your profile information from the Profile screen.
Delete (In-App): You can clear your data by clearing app data from Android Settings, or by uninstalling the app.
