Hello! I apologize if you didn't want to read this off my website, but we all gotta do things wo don't like, and in this case it's a post about Skrunkly Royale Turbo! Incase you don't know what that is, you can read or play it here!
Here's what you can expect - New Content on the way to Skrunkly Royale Turbo, A replacement for a certain fighter, What's to come in the future...
Let's get right into it!
Art of the Whenever!
maybe it's best if it isnt explained
Music of the Whenever!
New Track for SRT? Impossible!
NEW CHARACTER - KRISP
@KRISPIEDORK
After some unfortunate events involving FwostyX3, we had to pull the plug on the character. While I said I'd never make anymore updates, this was something that could hurt new players to the game, so I made the decision to at least change the character!
Krisp is an interesting character, having a playstyle balancing your cards and your low HP! Their card gimmick allows them to have two versions of their Neutral M and Side M! Ice embrittles and slows the opponent, and Lighting boosts your attack damage and knockback!
Krisp also uses their trusty pan! Which is honestly so baller.
NEW CONTENT ON THE WAY?
You may have already seen in the images above, but there are a bunch of changes coming this update! Some are insanely game changing! Since we're changing a character, might as well change a buncha old things too!
New HUD - There is a redesign to the on-screen HUD, featuring color blending off the characters you play, new stock icons for hurting/winning, and a crown decal to see whos in the lead!
Check those swag new colors!
Such happy faces!
DID SOMEBODY ORDER NEW MOVES?
just me? okay... :(
At launch, the game felt incredibly shallow, because at the time, that's what I wanted! Originally I wanted a very very VERY simple game anyone can learn, but in doing so I also left out core features and above all, COMPLEXITY! So thanks for the feedback Feli, it really did carry the development of what we did next.
What could ever make the game different?... What could possibly add the needed complexity? New moves of course! This update, every character recieved two new moves, a Side and Aerial Special. This actually made it a lot more fun to test and play with legend, as now every character has new move potential.
Among all these changes, some moves have been reworked slightly. Hopefully there will be a smooth transition from the old version to this new version, and I hope it meets all expectations! Heres a short gameplay vid showcasing some gameplay!
WHAT HAPPENS NOW?
While I can't put a release on this update just yet, I can say that it's looking to be a very fun addition to the base game. Even though I said I'd never make an update after release, it didn't sit right to leave something so hurtful inside.
Im also hard at work making VOLUME 4 of the Skrunkly Royale Turbo OST, which will contain demos, bonus tracks, and even sneak peaks into other games!
But I will say, this isn't all we've been working on... Until next time >:3
