Privacy Policy
Welcome to HalooU! By accessing HalooU through our mobile apps, your information may be collected and used in various ways. This Privacy Policy outlines how HalooU gathers, processes, and shares your information in connection with your use of our services. Please take a moment to review this policy to understand how your data is handled and how you can protect your privacy.
How We Collect Information
We gather information from a range of sources, including data you provide directly, information collected automatically, data from third parties, and inferred or derived data.
Information you give us voluntarily may include, but is not limited to, your name, display name, email, online identifiers, gender, and any other details you submit while using the HalooU platform. We will not request sensitive information tied to protected legal classifications.
When logging in via a third-party social media account, HalooU will collect your profile picture and username by default. You may edit this information afterward within the app.
Content you generate while using the app—such as messages, profile data, photos, screenshots, or other media—may be collected and stored. If another user captures a photo of you using HalooU features, that photo may be retained and used on HalooU or external platforms. If you disagree with our terms, please refrain from using our services.
Technical identifiers and device-specific data such as your IP address, MAC address, device model, operating system, browser type/version, language settings, and system configuration may be collected automatically. We use technologies like cookies and web beacons to facilitate this process.
When you share information, you may lose control over how others use it. Such data could become public depending on your or others’ actions. HalooU is not liable for how shared information is used. Furthermore, if a user reports inappropriate conduct, any relevant data—including audio, screenshots, or conversations stored on that user’s device—may be submitted to our servers for investigation.
You can choose not to provide certain information. However, withholding required data may affect your ability to use specific features or services effectively.
