These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Halo Hub Gateway Manager ("Halo HUB", "the App", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Halo HUB is a modular VPN client that allows you to import and manage your own server configurations (VLESS, VMess, Trojan, Shadowsocks) and route traffic through an on-device Xray-core engine. The App does not provide, operate, or maintain VPN servers. You are solely responsible for obtaining and managing the server configurations you use with the App.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.
The App does not require account creation. All data — including server configurations, folders, test results, and settings — is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any configurations stored on it.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. You shall not use the App to:
Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right
Transmit malware, viruses, or any other harmful code
Engage in unauthorized access to networks, systems, or data
Distribute illegal content or facilitate illegal activity
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by applicable law
Because the App connects to servers you provide, you are solely responsible for how you use those connections and for ensuring your use complies with the terms of your server provider and all applicable laws.
Free Tier. Halo HUB may be used free of charge with limited features, including one custom server configuration and three speed tests per day.
Premium Subscription. Premium unlocks unlimited configurations, unlimited testing, system-wide encrypted DNS profiles, Wi-Fi Security Scan, and priority support. Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription.
Billing. All payments are processed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing you agree to Apple's payment terms. Prices are displayed in the App before purchase and may vary by region.
Free Trials. If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription. You may cancel at any time in your Apple ID settings.
Cancellation and Refunds. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.
The App, including its design, code, graphics, interface, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
The App interacts with third-party services that are not under our control:
Your VPN Servers — We have no relationship with, and no responsibility for, the servers you configure in the App. Your use of those servers is governed by your agreement with their provider.
DNS Providers — When you enable encrypted DNS (DoH), queries are sent directly to your chosen provider (Cloudflare, Google, AdGuard, or NextDNS). Their respective terms and privacy policies apply.
Apple App Store — Purchases and subscriptions are governed by Apple's Terms of Service.
Apphud — Used for subscription verification. Governed by Apphud's own terms of service.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service.
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
The results obtained from the App (including speed tests, IP checks, DNS leak tests, Wi-Fi scans, or Privacy Score) will be accurate or reliable
Any particular server configuration will work with the App
The App will meet your specific requirements
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App, regardless of the theory of liability.
Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
We may modify these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
