This Privacy Policy describes how Halo Hub Gateway Manager ("Halo HUB", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information. By using the App you agree to the practices described below.
Halo HUB is a modular VPN client that lets users import and manage their own server configurations (VLESS, VMess, Trojan, Shadowsocks). The App does not provide VPN servers of its own and does not route user traffic through any infrastructure operated by us. Privacy by design is a core principle: we collect as little data as possible and keep everything we can on your device.
Halo HUB does not collect, store, or transmit:
VPN traffic logs or browsing history
DNS queries or DNS lookup history
Connection timestamps, session durations, or connection metadata
The addresses of the servers you connect to
Your real or masked IP address
Speed-test, IP-check, or DNS-leak-test results
Wi-Fi network details obtained through the Security Scan feature
The following data is created and stored locally on your device and is never sent to us:
Imported server configurations and share-links
Folder structure and organization of configs
Test history (speed tests, IP checks, DNS leak tests)
Encrypted DNS (DoH) profile preferences
Privacy Score calculations
App settings and preferences
This data remains under your control. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.
Apple App Store
Subscription purchases, renewals, trials, and cancellations are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple's own privacy policy governs that data. We do not have access to your payment details.
Apphud
We use Apphud to verify subscription status and manage entitlements. Apphud may receive anonymized transaction data from Apple (such as a purchase token and subscription state) but does not receive your personal information, traffic data, or configuration details. Encrypted DNS Providers
When you enable system-wide encrypted DNS (DoH), your DNS queries are sent directly from your device to the provider you choose (Cloudflare, Google, AdGuard, or NextDNS). We do not proxy, intercept, or log these queries. Each provider's own privacy policy applies to the DNS data they process.
Halo HUB runs a full Xray-core engine on your device. All tunneling happens directly between your device and the server you configured. We have no visibility into, and no access to, the traffic that passes through the tunnel.
Halo HUB does not include third-party analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or tracking pixels. We do not track your usage behavior, screen views, or feature interactions.
Halo HUB is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
Because the vast majority of data stays on your device, the primary security control is your device's own protection (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, device encryption). We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a strong passcode.
We do not retain any user data on our servers. On-device data persists until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App. Subscription records are retained by Apple and Apphud in accordance with their respective policies.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. Because we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, most of these rights are exercised directly on your device or through Apple's account management. If you have questions about data held by Apphud on our behalf, contact us and we will assist you.
Halo HUB is available worldwide. The minimal data processed by Apphud may be stored on servers located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you acknowledge this transfer. No traffic data or personal information leaves your device through the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
