One day I saw a balloon artist make a cool monkey out of balloons. So I saved my allowance money and bought my first long 260 balloons. Then I taught myself how to make balloon animals by watching YouTube videos. Making balloon art is really fun!
I have learned that I can get better and make the harder balloons, when I don't give up, when I keep trying again and again. I am learning better communication skills and how to interact with people. And about profits and money management, and what it's like to make smart decisions as a business owner. I keep a ledger of all my business expenses and income. I learned by watching Shark Tank!
I am a do-it-myself maker and problem-solver. I have always been into crafting and creating, working with fabric, making cardboard critters, painting with watercolors, and much more to design my own creations. I like doing the "hard stuff" and tinkering around to make things work.
My parents suggest I use my balloon business profits to start saving for college. But right now, I am using my balloon earnings to improve my business and get more professional equipment and gear.
