Fiction Text Structures:
Exposition: The background information about the main character's and settings in a story.
Rising Action: The story from the incident that creates the conflict to the climax.
Climax: The turning point in the story where the conflict is resolved.
Falling Action: The action that occurs immediately after the climax leading towards the resolution instead of escalation.
Resolution-How the conflict/problem get resolved and the message the reader learns from it.
Fiction Text Elements:
Characters: Who are the main and supporting characters in the story.
Setting: When and where did the story take place.
Plot/Text Structure: The rise and fall of the action.
Conflict/Problem: What is the issue that arises in the story; is it external, internal, or both.
Theme: The central idea or issue of the story that creates a lesson at the end.
