1. Introduction
Welcome to HajriBook ("we", "our", or "us"). HajriBook is a worker attendance and cashbook management app designed for contractors, site supervisors, and small business owners in India.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application. By using HajriBook, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Account Information – Your name and email address obtained through Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple when you create an account.
Profile Photo – An optional photo you choose to upload as your profile picture, stored securely in Firebase Storage.

Financial Records – Cash-in and cash-out entries, categories, and notes you record in the cashbook feature.

Store and sync your attendance and cashbook data securely via Firebase Firestore
Generate attendance, salary, and cash reports for your business
Process Pro subscription purchases through Apple In-App Purchases (iOS) or the Play Store (Android)

4. Sign In with Apple & Google
HajriBook uses Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple for authentication. We do not store your Google or Apple passwords. We only receive the minimum information these services provide (name and email), which is used solely to identify your account.
For Sign in with Apple, if you choose to hide your email, Apple provides a private relay address which we use as your account email. You can revoke HajriBook's access to your Apple ID at any time from your device Settings → Apple ID → Password & Security → Apps Using Apple ID.
5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
HajriBook Pro subscriptions on iOS are processed entirely through Apple's App Store In-App Purchase system. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details, Apple ID password, or billing information.
Subscription management (upgrade, downgrade, cancel) is handled through RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management platform, and Apple. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your device Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your business data is stored securely on Google Firebase Firestore, a cloud database that complies with international data security standards including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR. App preferences (language, theme, lock settings) are stored locally on your device.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. Your data is isolated per account and inaccessible to other users. We use Firebase App Check to protect our backend from unauthorised access.
7. Device Permissions
HajriBook requests the following permissions only when needed:
Contacts – To let you pick a worker from your phonebook. We do not upload or store your contact list.
Photo Library – To let you select a worker profile photo from your gallery.
Camera – To let you take a photo directly for a worker profile.
Face ID / Touch ID – To secure the app with biometric authentication (App Lock feature). Biometric data never leaves your device.
Push Notifications – To send important updates about your subscription and business reminders.
You can revoke any permission at any time from your device Settings.
8. Push Notifications
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications. Notifications may include subscription renewal reminders, payment confirmations, and in-app alerts. You can disable notifications at any time from your device Settings → Notifications → HajriBook.
