The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has rejected the news published in some newspapers about the suspension of Hajj flights due to the current tense situation in the Middle East. The ministry clearly stated that these reports are not true. All arrangements for Hajj 2026 are continuing according to the planned schedule.
A spokesperson of the ministry said that some media outlets reported that Hajj flights might be delayed or suspended because of the situation in the Middle East. However, the spokesperson clarified that these reports are false and have no truth. The ministry is continuing all Hajj preparations as planned.
The spokesperson also said that the process of issuing Hajj visas and other necessary arrangements for pilgrims is going on smoothly. The Ministry of Religious Affairs is actively working to make sure that all preparations are completed on time so that pilgrims can travel without any problems.
He further explained that the official Hajj flight schedule will be announced after Eid-ul-Fitr. At that time, pilgrims will receive complete details about their flights, accommodation in Makkah and Madinah, assigned offices (Maktab), and other arrangements. This information will help pilgrims prepare for their journey in a relaxed and organized way.
The spokesperson also advised Hajj pilgrims not to pay attention to unverified news or rumors. They should only trust official announcements from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and other authentic sources.
The ministry assured that the Government of Pakistan is making full preparations for Hajj 2026 and is working to complete all arrangements on time so that pilgrims can receive the best possible facilities during their sacred journey.
