Elmont memorial high school is an predominantly black high school. there are very few white students that attend this school. The town of Elmont is also predominantly black. students in elmont aren't able to go to many school but this school which makes it hard for these schools to become more integrated, for an example if you live close to elmont memorial high you aren't able to go to floral park memorial high, new Hyde park high school or Carey high school which seem to be more predominantly white schools.
