Environmental, Resource, Experimental, and Development Economics
I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Water Institute and Department of Economics, University of Waterloo.
I utilize applied microeconomic and econometric techniques to study the economics of resource management and impacts of environmental policies. Currently, I work on the Lake Futures and Agricultural Water Futures pillars of the Global Water Futures project, conducting economic valuation of the ecosystem services in the Great Lakes Basin and designing solutions to achieve sustainable agriculture and resilient ecosystem in Canada.
I previously earned a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Georgia, and two Master's Degrees in Agricultural Economics from Chinese Academy of Sciences and North Dakota State University.
