Educational NGOs

in Haiti

.

This website is for non-governmental (NGO) schools in Haiti to share resources and make connections. Given the nature of the transportation and communications infrastructure in Haiti this can be difficult. It is also a place for sharing  evidence-based research that can be useful in improving the educational operation of schools in Haiti.

American NGOs are the focus mainly because those were the easiest to research. This is not because Haitian groups are not important or that Americans are doing better work. Far from it. The most culturally appropriate care and education will always best be provided by Haitians. I couldn’t find much information on the web for such groups. There is information for about 330 NGOs with about 300,000 students.
