HPC/AI Integration with Quantum Computing(HAIQ) Workshop
About HAIQ
The rapid development of quantum computing in recent years has brought it to the forefront of technological innovation. However, even with significant advancements, quantum computing has yet to fully meet the complex needs of industry. To address this gap, the integration of classical computing resources, particularly High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), with emerging quantum computing technologies holds immense potential. This workshop aims to explore how affordable classical resources and current, limited quantum resources can collaborate to provide solutions that address real-world challenges across industries. The HAIQ workshop will emphasize the intersection of HPC, AI, and quantum computing, targeting both theoretical and applied aspects, aim to accelerate innovation and create synergies that push quantum computing closer to industrial demands. Our focus will extend beyond academia, bringing together experts from both industry institutions, offering a well-balanced mix of perspectives. We are proud to feature invited speakers and committee members from leading industry organizations, such as JPMorganChase, Quantinuum, Cisco, Microsoft, LBNL, Infleqtion, and Argonne, as well as prominent academic institutions including UCSD, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Edinburgh, University of Technology, Sydney, and UT Dallas. With representatives from Americas, Europe, Australia, and Asia, this workshop highlights the truly global nature of quantum computing research and development. Through this international collaboration, we hope to further establish a strong quantum computing community, with a particular emphasis on the integration of HPC and AI to meet pressing industry needs.
