Industry Collaborators
I am always interested in collaborating with industry partners to address high-impact real-world problems. I have extensive experience working with manufacturing, service, finance, and supply chain companies as well as technology start-ups. Please send me an email to schedule a virtual meeting if you have a challenging problem to discuss!
Prospective Ph.D. Students
Please apply to our Ph.D. program in the Carlson School of Management (concentration area Supply Chain and Operations). Ph.D. students are admitted by a committee and are funded by the business school (not by individual faculty like myself).
Questions about admissions should be directed to Professor Karthik Natarajan if they are specific to Supply Chain and Operations, or to the Ph.D. office if they are general to the Ph.D. program in Business Administration.
If you are specifically interested in working with me, please specify that in your application as well as what types of research problems you are excited about.
Existing Ph.D. Students
If you are already a Ph.D. student at the University of Minnesota and are interested in working with me, please first make sure it is okay with your advisor. Then, read some of my papers and send me an email so that we can discuss further about the types of research problems you want to collaborate on.
Master's and Undergraduate Students
Sometimes I may have some empirical projects for highly motivated master’s and undergraduate students, but these require solid training in data sciences methodology and data analytics skills (proficiency in SAS, R, STATA, MATLAB, Python, or other). If that is you, please send me an email with your relevant coursework, project experience, and problems you are interested in.
