Preparing to Attend
We are going paperless. Feel free to bring a notebook or device to keep track of your notes.
Please review the attached Sessions at a Glance, for an overview of the conference schedule and sessions. Printed copies of the program will not be provided. If you need a printed version, please print it and bring it with you. There will be QR codes so that you can download the program on site.
Dress for comfort and movement. Keep in mind that some rooms may be chilly and the weather may be rainy.
A light breakfast and lunch will be provided to all participants who registered by January 5, 2024. For those who registered late, we will have a limited amount of lunches available on a first come first serve basis. There are options to purchase food on campus if lunch is unavailable. Participants are encouraged to bring their own refillable water bottle as refillable water stations will be available.
Parking: Refer to the attached UH Mānoa Map to understand where parking is located and how to get to the Campus Center. Participants should enter campus via the Dole Street Entrance and park in Lot 20 (Parking Structure). Parking will be $5. If parking in Lot 20 sells out, then parking is available on the neighborhood streets. If you have a handicap placard and need a handicap parking pass for UH please email HAHPERD at hahperd808@gmail.com. We do encourage carpooling or taking uber/lyft from the airport if possible. There will be a HAHPERD representative at the Dole Street parking gates to answer questions. It will take about 10 minutes once you are parked to get from the parking structure to the Campus Center.
Parking and Information Map
Once you park in Lot 20 (lower campus parking structure), go to the top floor of the parking garage (floor 5), cross Dole street, and head towards campus center. See map attached below. Climb the stairs to the third floor or take the elevator. There will be volunteers and signs to help you find your way. Please make sure that you check in to receive your conference badge/name tag and your lunch ticket.
