Ha Hoang Kha  received the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, in 2000 and 2003, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, in 2009, all in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications. From 2000 to 2004, he was a research and teaching assistant with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. He was a visiting research fellow at the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, the University of New South Wales, Australia, from April 2009 to March 2011. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Technology Sydney, Australia from 2011 to 2013. He is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Vietnam.

His research interests are in digital signal processing and wireless communications, with a recent emphasis on convex optimization techniques in signal processing and machine learning for wireless communications.
