Hello!

I'm a principal applied scientist at Amazon and adjunct faculty member (senior lecturer) in the department of software and information systems engineering at Ben Gurion University of the Negev.

Previously I was a senior applied researcher & agile team leader (ATL) at ebay, focusing on Buyer Experience (BX) AI research. 

Prior to that I was a senior technical staff member (STSM - principal researcher), lead researcher and master inventor at IBM Research AI. 

I was also an adjunct lecturer at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology and at Haifa University.

My research interests are: Recommender Systems (Personalization), Information Retrieval,  NLP, Social Media and E-Commerce.

I have dozens of issued/filed patents, most of which are available online. 

I hold a BSc in Information Systems Engineering (2004 - Cum Laude) and PhD in Information Management Engineering (2009 - supervisor: Prof. Avigdor Gal) - both from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

In my spare time, I'm an amateur DJ, playing mostly progressive trance and deep house music.
