Route One

Description

Route 1 starts at Anadl Port, flanked by cliffs on one side and an expansive view of the sea on the other. The path winds through sandy stretches interspersed with tufts of grass and craggy rocks. The sound of waves crashing against the shore provides a constant backdrop to the journey. 

Events

The player meets Professor Daphne Laurel at the entrance to Route 1, where she reveals her uncertainty about stepping into her late father’s role as Hafod’s Pokémon professor. She offers the player their starter Pokémon, with Dylan picking the type advantage. The professor takes the remaining Pokémon for herself, deciding to start fresh in Hafod. She then invites them to her lab in Llanwgair Town for a task. After she leaves, Dylan challenges the player to their first battle.
