Hafiz gave exceptionally detailed and thoughtful responses to material which could be argues extends beyond the scope of the course. He went above and beyond to address my concerns and ensure we both agreed on the final outcome.
Hafiz Usman Butt has exceeded my expectations as a TA for CIVE 123. I never expected such fast replies to emails regarding questions to labs and even for remarking my midterm which I made a mistake (submitted to wrong dropbox). I believe Hafiz is extremely professional and is the golden standard for TAs. I would also like to mention how considerate he is to all students, sending out emails regarding difficult labs to resolve any potential questions. He reassures students and gives them more confidence, especially since some of the labs were tedious and time consuming.

Great TA. Always answered my emails quickly and provided enough guidance to finish the assignment on my own. This course would have been 3.9 times harder if I didn't have the weekly lab emails that he sent to the class.
