Haem Team is an organization formed by eight high school students passionate about combating the blood donation issues in Jamaica. Our focus is to ensure that health care providers and patients across Jamaica do not have to endure extenuating circumstances to receive the life-saving gift of blood. Hi everyone. I am Gabrielle McLaren (you can call me Gabby if you like). Encouraging persons to donate blood is a passion of mine as I aspire to dedicate my life to serving Jamaicans through healthcare. I am excited to help people understand the need for and nuances of blood donation to ensure that all Jamaicans can have access to the life-saving gift of blood!

Hi, I'm Usann!I'm an 18-year-old Jamaican just trying to navigate life in this "panorama". The years 2020 and 2021 were pivotal years in my life as they propelled me to actualize some of my passions such as playing the violin, acting, and most importantly, my love for community outreach. I love helping wherever and whenever I can. This desire has led my friends and I to organize a blood drive where pursuing our passions can also be impactful.BREON SWABY

Hello👋 I am Breon but I prefer Bree, I am 18 years old and I attend the Immaculate Conception High School. I hope to pursue Research in the STEM fields in the future as this is where my interests lie. My hobbies include watching films, playing table tennis, cooking and styling hair. I am proud to represent the Haem Team but most importantly I am eager to encourage Jamaicans to give blood!

I understand that recently, our country has been under a severe blood shortage. I'm grateful for the opportunity to assist in alleviating some of the pressures placed on Jamaica's medical sector.
