Effective June 14, 2026
Hadi ("Hadi", "we", "us") is a baby-monitor app that turns two phones into a camera and a viewer. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Hadi is intended for use by parents and guardians (adults); it is not directed to children.
• Account (only if you choose to sign in): your email address and the sign-in method (email/password, Apple, or Google). Passwords are stored only as a salted hash.
• Family & camera setup: camera names, family invite codes, and the random room codes used to connect your devices.
• Subscription status: whether your account has "Hadi Plus," validated through the Apple App Store or Google Play (we never see your card details).
• On-device data: snapshots, the baby log, recorded clips, app settings, and data-usage counters stay on your device and are not uploaded to us.
Live audio and video stream directly between your own devices over an encrypted peer-to-peer connection, relayed when necessary by our streaming provider (LiveKit). We do not record, store, or have access to your camera's audio or video on our servers. Snapshots and clips you save are stored locally on your device.
Hadi uses the camera and microphone only to stream to your own viewer device, and notifications to alert you to sound, motion, or a camera going offline. These are used solely to provide the monitor.
To operate the service: authenticate you, connect your paired devices, enable family sharing and temporary guest access, manage subscriptions, and provide support.
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with service providers that make the app work: LiveKit (real-time media transport), Apple and Google (sign-in and subscription billing), and our cloud hosting providers. They process data only to provide their service to us.
Account and subscription data are kept while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing a.du944@gmail.com. Data stored only on your device is removed when you delete it in the app or uninstall Hadi.
Connections use TLS in transit, media streams are encrypted, and passwords are hashed. No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
Hadi is designed for parents and guardians. While it is used to monitor infants, the babies being monitored are not app users and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app is not directed to children under 13.
We may update this policy; we will revise the "Effective" date above when we do.
