Frequently asked questions
Do I need an internet connection? No. Both collections ship inside the app and are read from your device. A connection is only used to show ads and, if you buy Premium, to confirm the purchase.
Do I need an account? No. There is no sign-in and no profile. Nothing you do in the app is uploaded.
How do I turn a language on or off? Settings → Languages. Arabic, English and Urdu each have a switch, and at least one always stays on. The reading screen updates immediately.
The Arabic or Urdu text is too small. Settings → Text size. The slider scales all three scripts together, and the preview above it shows the result before you leave the screen. Reset to Default puts it back.
How do I get a hadith every day? Settings → Remind me every day, then choose a time. Your device will ask permission to post notifications the first time. The whole hadith appears in the notification, so you do not have to open the app to read it.
The reminder is not arriving. Check that notifications are allowed for Hadees in your device settings, and that the reminder switch is still on. The reminder is scheduled on your device and needs no connection — if notifications are allowed and it still does not appear, write to us and tell us your device and iOS version.
How do I search Arabic without typing the harakat? Just type the letters. Searching إنما finds إِنَّمَا. English and Urdu are searched the same way, and results show which book each hadith came from.
How do I save a hadith? Tap the heart, either in the list or on the reading screen. Favourites live under the Favorites tab, grouped by book and ordered by number, and can be searched.
How do I share a hadith as an image? Open the hadith, tap the image icon in the row under the text, and a preview appears before the share sheet. The image carries the Arabic first, then the translations you have switched on, with the reference and grading.
How do I remove the ads? Premium removes every ad — banner, full-screen and rewarded. It is available monthly, yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Nothing else is behind it: every hadith is free.
I already bought Premium. How do I get it back on a new device? Open Premium and tap Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with.
How do I cancel a subscription? Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Hadees. Cancelling stops the renewal and Premium stays active until the period ends.
I found a mistake in a translation or a reference. Please tell us. The About screen has a report option, or email legendaryszapps@gmail.com. The Arabic is cross-checked across four independent sources and the gradings come from Imam al-Nawawi's own takhrij, but this is not a scholarly certification, and corrections ship in the next update.
What happens to my favourites if I delete the app? They are stored only on your device, so deleting the app deletes them. There is no cloud copy and they cannot be restored afterwards.
Is my data collected? The app itself collects nothing you type and never logs what you search. Ads, analytics and crash reporting are provided by Google and are described in full in the privacy policy below.
