BIO

HackOut! is a bass-less trio established in 2019 within the walls of Venezze Conservatory, Rovigo (Italy). The music of the trio aims to highlight the personality of each musicians by seeking the balance between harmonic structures and radical improvisation, acoustic and electric timbres.

In the past years HackOut! released three albums: Cedrus Libani (2021), Sad Music for Happy Elevators (2023) and Cortado (2025).

Between 2021 and 2024 HO! performed in China, Hong Kong, India, France, Germany, Norway, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain , Croatia and Italy in some international venues and festivals like: Blue Note Beijing (CN), Hong Kong Arts Centre (HK), Fu'An Grand Theatre (CN), Jazzycolors Festival (FR), Jazz à La Cité (FR), Canadian Cultural Centre (FR), Bergamo Jazz Festival, Venezia Jazz Festival, Sile Jazz, Blue Monk Festival, Albinea Jazz, Italian Institutes of Culture (Beijing, Paris, Madrid, Bruxelles, Strasbourg, Oslo and Cologne).

They also collaborated and recorded with some of the top jazz musicians including Jacky Terrasson, Fulvio Sigurtà, Francesco Diodati, Francesco Giomi and many more.

HackOut! had the chance to be guest of the Italian Institute of Culture of Paris (November 2021) and Madrid (February 2024) in order to compose the music of last two albums.

HackOut! è un trio bass-less che si costituisce nel 2019 tra le mura del Conservatorio di Rovigo.

Punto focale del progetto è la ricerca di una propria identità sonora seguendo un percorso di sperimentazione timbrica dove l’interplay riveste un ruolo fondamentale. La musica di HackOut! ha l’obiettivo di enfatizzare la natura stessa della formazione dando rilievo alle personalità musicali dei singoli elementi, ricercando l’equilibrio tra strutture armoniche e improvvisazione radicale, timbriche acustiche ed elettriche.

Negli anni successivi pubblica tre album: Cedrus Libani (2021), Sad Music For Happy Elevators (2023) e Cortado (2025) esibendosi tra Cina, Hong Kong, India, Francia, Norvegia, Germania, Belgio, Olanda, Spagna, Croazia e Italia.

Tra le tappe toccate: Blue Note Beijing (CN), Hong Kong Arts Centre (HK), Fu'An Grand Theatre (CN), Jazzycolors Festival (FR), Jazz à La Cité (FR), Canadian Cultural Centre (FR), Bergamo Jazz Festival, Venezia Jazz Festival, Sile Jazz, Blue Monk Festival, Albinea Jazz e presso gli Istituti Italiani di Cultura (Pechino, Parigi, Madrid, Oslo, Bruxelles, Strasburgo, Colonia).

HO! Ha collaborato e registrato con alcuni dei musicisti di spicco tra cui Jacky Terrasson, Fulvio Sigurtà, Francesco Diodati e Francesco Giomi.

Il trio ha avuto modo di partecipare a due residenze artistiche presso l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Parigi (Novembre 2021) e l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Madrid (Febbraio 2024), momenti nei quali il trio ha potuto lavorare esclusivamente alla composizione di nuova musica.
