BIO

HackOut! is a bass-less trio established in 2019 beetween the walls of the “F. Venezze” Conservatory of Rovigo (IT). The repertoire is made of compositions which aims to highlight the personality of each musicians by seeking the balance between harmonic structures and radical improvisation, acoustic and electric timbres.

In the past years the trio released two albums: Cedrus Libani (2021), the first studio album, and Sad Music for Happy Elevators (2023), recorded live at the historical venetian jazz club “Al Vapore”. The next album will be out in October 2024 for the label Caligola Records.

Between 2021 and 2024 the trio performed in France, Germany, Norway, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy and Spain, playing in some of the most prestigious festivals and venues, including Jazzycolors (FR), Jazz à La Cité (FR), Bergamo Jazz Festival, Venezia Jazz Festival, Sile Jazz, Blue Monk Festival, Albinea Jazz; Italian Institutes of Culture (Paris, Madrid, Bruxelles, Oslo and Cologne) and Canadian Culturale Centre of Paris.

They also collaborated and recorded with some of the top jazz musicians including Jacky Terrasson, Fulvio Sigurtà, Francesco Diodati, Francesco Giomi and many more.

HackOut! had the chance to be guest of the Italian Institute of Culture of Paris (November 2021) and Madrid (February 2024) for a full month artist residency in order to compose the music of the last two albums.
