Run a Lego Sumo Bot Tournament

Consult the Sumo Bot Tournament Rules to help you setup and run a Lego Sumo Bot Tournament.

You can setup your tournament with either:

• 8 teams: Use 8 team tournament spreadsheet.
• 10 teams: Use 10 team tournament spreadsheet.
• 16 teams: Use 16 team tournament spreadsheet.
• 24 teams: Use 24 team tournament spreadsheet.

Building a Competition Table:

1. Construct using wood (0.75 inch thick plywood boards and 2" x 4" wood planks underneath the table for support).
2. Dimensions of the board are shown in the diagram below.
3. Painting of the board: Center of the board is painted in white, lines around the board are painted in black and launch boxes are painted in yellow:
4. Elevation of the board: attach four 30” 2”x4” blocks of wood using screws along the bottom of the board to elevate it 2 inches above the floor.
