About Us

The Hackin' Hounds had the opportunity to compete at the Pennsylvania State Championship for their first time in 2023, and every following year.

As members of the FIRST community, our Hackin' Hounds family seeks to reach out and inspire others to participate in the STEM field and various FIRST events. We have hosted multiple scrimmages and FLL and FTC competitions. We have exposed many families in various FIRST and STEM through our outreach activities.

We are one of the FIRST Tech Challenge teams in York, PA and founded in 2022. We are a school team made up of students in grades 7 through 12 from York Country Day School.

The Hackin' Hounds members learn about engineering, programming, strategy, business, and networking skills through hands-on experience. We also learn about working as a team and Gracious Professionalism, which is a core concept of FIRST.

Who are the Hackin' Hounds?

The Hackin' Hounds FTC #21324 team is a First Tech Challenge team made up of middle and high school students from York Country Day School in York, PA. Through hands-on experience with robotics, team members learn skills in engineering, coding, leadership, teamwork, technology, and more. As a team, we work to inspire others in our community to get involved with robotics through various methods of outreach, from demonstrations to workshops.
