Nautilux

The Bower & Wilkins company has build Nautilus speakers serie with the shell in mind. Now it is time to build something with 3D printer with the same inspiration. After spending hours and hours on the web, it was possible to find the files from the "Spirula" project. The makers of this project vanished in the air but it was possible to find the files to re-create the thing.

The little Anet A8 (220x220 bed) is not able to print even half the object, so we have to cut it in different parts.

Printing time is loooong and you can see the result after 12 hours !

We use "wood" PLA and surface aspect seems nice. We are impatient to test the first protoype!

After few tests we decide to cut one enclosure on 3 parts.

On this video you will see a timelapse of one side of the enclosure printed on the Anet A8 with wood filament.

Photos are from the "prototype of the prototype".

We have to "finish" the product and certainly try better speakers than the Tang Bang installed here.
