Welcome to Habitra — a privacy-first habit and mood tracker built for iOS and Android.
Your privacy is our top priority. Habitra is designed to work 100% offline with no servers, no accounts, and no data collection. Everything you do inside the app stays entirely on your device.
This Privacy Policy explains how Habitra handles your data and what your rights are.
Habitra does not:
Require you to create an account.
Collect or share any personal data.
Connect to any external servers or analytics platforms.
Use cookies, trackers, or third-party SDKs.
Store or transmit your information over the internet.
Your data never leaves your device unless you manually export it.
All information is stored locally using AES-256 encryption inside your device’s secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android).
Habits & Logs: The names, times, and completion history of habits you track
Mood Entries: Emoji-based mood ratings and optional notes or tags
Journal Notes & Templates: Text or structured data you voluntarily input
Reminders & Notifications: Scheduled locally on your device
App Settings: Preferences such as theme, PIN, and notification settings
All of this remains accessible only to you. Habitra developers cannot access, read, or recover this information.
Habitra offers manual export and backup features. When using these:
You can export your data to an encrypted .habitra file.
You can choose to store that file in your preferred service (Google Drive, iCloud Drive, email, etc.).
You remain in full control Habitra never uploads or transmits anything automatically.
If you delete or lose the backup file, it cannot be recovered.
We use industry-standard AES-256 encryption for sensitive data and device-specific secure storage mechanisms:
iOS: Apple Keychain
Android: Encrypted Shared Preferences + Keystore
Optional PIN or biometric locks (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint) add another layer of security.
Even if your device is lost, no one can access your Habitra data without your passcode or biometric authorization.
You have complete control over your data within Habitra:
View & Edit: See or modify any entry at any time
Export: Create an encrypted backup of your data
Delete: Permanently erase all data via Settings → Data Management → Delete All Data
Once deleted, the data cannot be recovered — Habitra does not keep any copies.
Habitra is designed for general audiences and is not intended for children under 13.
Because the app collects no data and requires no account, no personal information is knowingly stored or transmitted from minors.
Habitra does not use any third-party analytics, ads, tracking tools, or cloud services.
If you choose to store your manual backup in a third-party location (e.g., Google Drive, iCloud), that service’s privacy policy will apply to that storage not Habitra’s.
Habitra is built to function entirely offline.
The app will never attempt to connect to the internet, send analytics, or request network permissions.
Even features like notifications and analytics run 100% locally on your device.
Under the GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California), Habitra acts as a data processor operating solely on your device.
You are the data controller full owner of all data entered into the app.
Since no data is transmitted or shared, Habitra is inherently compliant with these regulations.
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to clarify wording or reflect app improvements.
Any updates will be shown within the More → Help & Support → Privacy Policy section of the app.
Since Habitra does not collect user contact information, we cannot send notifications of changes please review this page periodically.
