HabitFlow ("the app", "we", "us") is an offline habit and productivity tracker. Your privacy is the foundation of how the app is built: HabitFlow does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. Everything you create stays on your device.
This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is stored, and the choices available to you.
We collect no personal data. HabitFlow has no user accounts, no sign-up or login, and no analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. We do not gather your name, email address, location, contacts, device identifiers, or usage statistics.
When you use HabitFlow, you create content such as habits, completion records, streaks, linked tasks, statistics, and app preferences (for example, your chosen theme and accent color). This information is:
Stored only on your device, in a private local database that belongs to the app. It is never uploaded to us, to any server, or to any third party, because the app does not connect to the internet for any data purpose. It remains accessible only to you, through the app, on the device where you created it.
We have no ability to see, access, retrieve, or recover this content.
The data you create is used solely on your device to provide the app's features — displaying your habits, calculating streaks and statistics, rendering charts and your activity heatmap, and powering the in-app rewards system (experience points, levels, and coins). None of this processing leaves your device.
We do not share, sell, rent, trade, or disclose any data to anyone. There are no third-party services, software development kits, advertising networks, or analytics providers embedded in the app that would receive your data.
HabitFlow requests no sensitive runtime permissions and does not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, or network for the purpose of collecting data. The app functions entirely offline.
Because your data lives only on your device, you are in full control of it. You can delete individual habits, tasks, and records at any time within the app. Uninstalling HabitFlow permanently and completely removes all data the app has stored on your device. Since nothing is ever uploaded, there is no server-side copy to request the deletion of.
Your information is stored within the app's private storage area provided by the Android operating system, which restricts access by other apps. As with any app, the security of locally stored data also depends on the overall security of your device (for example, your screen lock and device encryption).
HabitFlow does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. Because the app collects no data at all, it does not target or profile children or any other users.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect new app features or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
