Cloud Backup (Google Drive)

ScanDroid offers an optional Cloud Backup feature that saves your scan history to your own Google Drive and restores it on a new device.

When you enable it, ScanDroid asks only for access to the Google Drive App Data Folder (the drive.appdata scope) — a hidden, app-private area of your own Drive. The backup is stored in your Google account, is visible only to you, and never appears among your normal Drive files. HalSoft does not receive, store, or have access to this data on its own servers.

This access is used solely to provide the backup and restore feature you request. You can revoke it at any time from your Google Account settings.
