About Us/Our Mission

We are a student collective of 8 schools in Connecticut fundraising to preserve human rights in Connecticut. With the pandemic, many nonprofits are struggling financially, so we decided to raise money and split it between four nonprofits we believe to be essential in Connecticut.

Maya Palanki is a junior at Conard High School who decided to reach out to high school students from various schools to create Hope for Human Rights. She is passionate about human rights and hopes to make an impact in her community!
