NATIONAL SECTORAL ASSEMBLIES 2023 

In a historic gathering at The Manila Hotel Tent City, over 1,300 basic sector leaders convened for the 7th National Sectoral Assemblies (NSA) during the 2023 Plenary Session. The event, organized by the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC), showcased discussions on the Basic Sectoral Council's milestones, the drafting of the National Anti-Poverty Action Agenda, and the signing of a crucial joint memorandum circular outlining comprehensive guidelines for the National Poverty Reduction Plan. Key government officials and partner agencies graced the kick-off with insightful speeches. 

During the second day of the National Sectoral Assembly (NSA) 2023, the 14 basic sectors engaged in discussions regarding their priority sectoral agenda and established ground rules for the upcoming election. On the third and final day, the basic sectors elected a new set of council members and a sectoral representative to lead their respective councils for the next three years.
