Multi-Engine

Seaplane Flight Training

WaterWings Seaplanes provides Multi-engine seaplane training in our 1946 Grumman Widgeon G44A with Continental 0-470, 240 HP engines and Garmin 430W and King Avionics. The average total student cost is around $4500 -- which is about 5 hours of flight time including the check ride and the examiner fee. The instruction rate is $750 / hr. Most students actually use less time/money. Ground school materials are provided. My course provides the essential knowledge and experience for passing the check flight, but more importantly introduces the student to many diverse situations which a seaplane pilot may encounter, including takeoffs and landings in large and small lakes and operating around busy harbors. My goal is to provide you maximum flight and ground training effectiveness with a minimum amount of time and money expended. We pride ourselves on providing safe and fun training..

Ground School Materials are available at HERE.
