Hydrogen is the most abundant and lightest element in the universe, rarely found in nature in isolated form. As a result, it needs to be extracted from some chemical compound, typically hydrocarbons or water.
There are three main types of electrolyzers:
Alkaline Electrolyzers
PEM Electrolyzers (Proton Exchange Membrane)
SOEC Electrolyzers (Solid Oxide Electrolyzer Cell)

The storage is unusual because, throughout numerous iterations, they worked to further lower the weight of the cylinder, making them lighter while yet giving the same amount of storage as Generation 1 Cylinders.Â
However, due to theoretical chemistry effects with hydrogen in such high pressure around a cylinder, they had to adapt. So, Type 5 will be a carbon fiber with a high epoxy resin content that acts as an metallic plastic layer.
The projected data collection and project manufacturing are unlikely to rely on external services or equipment; it is foreseeable that the acquisition of components such as hydrogen tanks, temperature devices, transformers, batteries, or materials with specific thermodynamic properties may be necessary.Â
Based on existing comparable solutions, the likely materials to be used are aluminum, platinum, and concrete, all of which are readily available in the industry. Â
There are several methods for transporting hydrogen:
Hydrogen can be transported via trucks using ammonia, which contains 33% hydrogen in its liquid state.
Another more efficient option is distributed hydrogen production through electrolysis near the point of use, rather than transporting hydrogen + Other methods

There is already significant application of green hydrogen in vehicles, such as the Toyota Mirai, as well as in projects for airport use, as seen in the case of Barcelona.
The development of hydrogen fuel cells has more benefits than drawbacks as a viable energy source, with positive environmental impacts.
Although the current demand for green hydrogen is limited, its third-generation technology and projects like NEOM in Saudi Arabia indicate ongoing growth, despite current economic challenges.Â
6. Market Price
The price of hydrogen has fluctuated, and in 2023 it was the highest it had ever been.Â
However, despite government subsidies in the hydrogen market, the installation of a hydrogen fuel cell remains expensive.Â
