Our Mission

The H2Med Project strives to investigate hailstorms in the Mediterranean region. Our goal is to understand the patterns and characteristics of hailstorms in the region, and to provide valuable insights to stakeholders affected by hail 

Satellite Observations

We use state-of-the-art satellite observations to gather data on hailstorms and their movement in the Mediterranean region. This data allows us to create accurate models and predictions of hailstorm patterns and behavior 

Meteorological Reanalysis

By analyzing historical meteorological data, we can gain a better understanding of the conditions that lead to hailstorms. This information helps us to refine our models and predictions, and to identify potential areas of risk 


Climate Modelling

Using advanced climate modelling techniques, we can simulate hailstorm events in the Mediterranean region. This allows us to predict the trends of their future occurrencies
