This competition will consist of multiple rounds of 1 vs 1 matches. These matches will be in a Best of 5 system. First to win 3 scrambles wins the match and advances to the next round. If you lose, you're out. Sorry.
Steps to start at the 18th of April:
#0 Look into the competitor’s list to see whether you’re in the Amateur or Pro group the list will be available here (link will also be shared through mail):
https://sites.google.com/view/h2heurope/competitors)
#1 Look in the right Bracket scheme to see your opponent:
https://sites.google.com/view/h2heurope/matchups
#2 Find your opponent in our Discord server. To find your opponent’s Discord name try searching in the competitor’s list on our website:
https://sites.google.com/view/h2heurope/competitors
NOTE: If your opponent doesn't show up after 15 minutes from the start of the round, send a DM to Tim Lugtigheid | 2019LUGT01#9172 on Discord. He will check if your opponent is online. If your opponent is not responding, you will get a bye and advance to the next round.
#3 If you found your opponent, set up a private Discord video call with your opponent.
#4 Open the scrambles from the round you’re participating in:
https://sites.google.com/view/h2heurope/scrambles
The scrambles will also be found in the submit form.
#5 Do the scrambles and take notes of who won the scramble. After 5 scrambles there will be a winner!
#6 The winner fills out the submit form:
https://sites.google.com/view/h2heurope/submit
The form is easy to fill in. Important to remember is that you have to enter the match number. This is the little number you see in front of your and your opponent's name in the bracket. This helps the oranizers to quickly process the large amount of data. An example of this number has been added to the submit form.
#7 If you won the round, congratulations. You will be put into the next round of the competition. Look up the time for the next round and find your next opponent. Repeat from step 1.
NOTE: If you made it to the Finals (Amateur and Pro) we will contact you about
streaming opportunities.
The system will automatically put you in either the pro or amateur group. This will be based on your best offical average (if you have one). Check on the 17th of April what your group is.
Have a nice competition and may the best win!
